Saving the Planet, One Crane at a Time
Each origami crane is made with recycled wallpaper. Wallpaper today is blended with plastics, to make it durable, but there is a lot of waste that doesn't get used and ends up in landfills. That's when Lawrence Beall, the artist, got the idea to turn his passion into a business that helps save our planet. Beall partnered with an interior design corporation to collect and recycle their unused wallpaper, turning it into origami art, like these earrings.
